Hearts Post Card Swap at Art4Mail

Our Yahoo group, Art4Mail, hosted a 'Hearts' swap for a Valentine's theme recently. Here's my offering. I make the background by cutting two separate fabrics into wavy strips. Then I wove the colors together, potholder fashion, then ironed the piece onto fusible interfacing. It makes a great background. The heart is leftover from last year's ArtWeMail shaker swap, where the heart shape was cut out. I saved the cutouts, knowing that they'd come in handy and I was right! Baby ric rac was glued to the edge and red bow in the middle. Wah Lah! Done! Way Moore Fun!!

Thanks for sharing how you made your postcard. I can't wait to make one for my mom! Also, could you possibly take a picture of the postcard I sent to you and email it to me. I wanted to show my friends and I totally forgot to take a picture before I mailed them. But only if it's not too much trouble. Thanks! amy.shoemaker@gmail.com
