Pumpkin Wall Hanging

Isn't Autumn just the best time of year - I've heard it is Summer's Last Loviest Smile, and isn't that true? For those who have harsh winters, this is the last hurrah of the season. Each season has it's own beauty, but I think Autumn shines brightest! This is one of three small wall hangings that I've made for a dear friend who will give them as gifts. She is part of my fund raiser and a very special lady. The technique is fused icons on background, a sort of log cabin surround, all layers stitched and turned to right side, thereby avoiding binding. It's just one (of three) happy pumpkin!
