I participated in a flat doll exchange with my postcard group, Art4Mail, in December. I thought it would be fun to photo the process of making these dolls. They are really easy and go together quickly. All you need is a sharp pencil for tracing, a pair of sharp scissors for cutting , and a sharp wit when a comedy op presents itself! Note their toes - complete with polish - couldn't show up at the shepherd's field without being fully dressed, now could they! This is a Debbie
Mumm pattern from back in the day. This angel was part of a wall hanging and was just perfect for this application. Following are the steps to completion.
Thanks for the tutorial...I would never have thought of using the teflon mat to press the separate parts onto.
