Our Yahoo group, Art4Mail, hosted a 'Hearts' swap for a Valentine's theme recently. Here's my offering. I make the background by cutting two separate fabrics into wavy strips. Then I wove the colors together, potholder fashion, then ironed the piece onto fusible interfacing. It makes a great background. The heart is leftover from last year's
ArtWeMail shaker swap, where the heart shape was cut out. I saved the cutouts, knowing that they'd come in handy and I was right! Baby
ric rac was glued to the edge and red bow in the middle.
Wah Lah! Done! Way Moore Fun!!
How cute and how creative is that!!! You never cease to amaze me girlfriend. Love ya Lisa
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing how you made your postcard. I can't wait to make one for my mom! Also, could you possibly take a picture of the postcard I sent to you and email it to me. I wanted to show my friends and I totally forgot to take a picture before I mailed them. But only if it's not too much trouble. Thanks! amy.shoemaker@gmail.com
