This is the mini quilt that I made for Diane. Our theme is "Things that Fly." I found this cute little angel block in my stash of mini blocks and thought this would be the perfect place to use it. She certainly qualifies for a flying thing! I also have a pile of these basket blocks that I made several years back. They are from Alex Anderson's Simply Quilts program back in the day when they were on HGTV. The size of this piece is about 15" square. 
The baskets might be a push when we're thinking about things that fly, unless you read the back of my quilt where I explain that baskets always fly with hot air balloons!
